Festival flamenco Caja Madrid flamenco
(Festival Flamenco Caja Madrid) Five days of beautiful music flamenco in one of the theaters of the city. The dates are shifted. In recent years the festival was attended by celebrities such as Enrique Morente, Carmen Linares and Diego El cigala.
Arco contemporary art
One of the greatest European festivals of contemporary art. Arco collects art galleries and exhibitors from all continents in the exhibition center Juan Carlos in the Park Ferial (Parque Ferial) near the Barajas airport. Held in the middle of the month.
Jazz is spring – jazz
Three weeks of jazz in leading jazz clubs in the city. This festival sometimes falls in April.
The night of street theatre theatres
(La Noche de los Teatros) During the festival the night of the theaters of Madrid become the stage for performances of all genres, focusing on comedies and children’s plays. Usually the festival is held on the last Saturday of March.
May and June
The feast of the community of Madrid city festival
02.05.1808 Napoleon’s troops crushed the revolt in Madrid, but this day was the occasion for a huge celebration, as it marks the beginning of the national liberation struggle. Fervently celebrated in the bars of the district of malasaña districts.
The Feast Of St. Isidore

Madrid for children
Madrid is full of entertainment for children. For starters it is best to visit Casa de Campo where there are pools. Madrid zoo and aquarium and the amusement Park, which features a children’s area for a relaxing traveling with small children. To get to Casa de Campo, use teleferico – one of the horizontal cableway world, which stretches for 2.5 km from the slopes of La Rosaleda (La Rosaleda).
Pride day gay, lesbian and transgender movement in protection of sexual minorities
Colorful gay pride parade held on the last Saturday of June. It begins at the Puerta de Alcala in the early evening and runs through the city to loud music, running to the Puerta del Sol.
July and August
City summer festival
City hall of Madrid during July and August is organizing a series of cultural events, shows and exhibitions, known as the City’s summer festival.

Short but fun summer festivals environs (held from mid-August to September), such as San K&itano – (San Cayctano) in the town of Lavae-EU (Lavapies), San Lorenzo (San Lorenzo) and La Paloma – (La Paloma) in the district of La latina, the main entertainment.
White night – night festival
In September the White night in Madrid opened up in the morning more than 120 schools, the whole city is covered by the extravaganza of concerts and General revelry.
Jazz festival of Madrid
Madrid loves jazz too, to be limited to only one festival (jazz – it’s spring is another spring festival of jazz). This November holiday, perhaps more prestigious. It everywhere the people gather to participate in the Metropolitan concerts.
